Here's another job I did while working for another shop about 1-1/2 years ago. a real plain commercial rail, but I just like how it turned out. Newel posts and rails are 1-1/4" sch. 40 uncoated pipe, the pickets are 1/2" solid round bar. All the curves were rolled with a hydraulic 3 wheel roll bender. I miss that machine it was one of those Italian-ish sounding names like FMB, but not FMB. Attached Images
Reply:Any pictures of the construction? Did you make a pattern for the curve, or roll them on site and finish in the shop?Just my opinion, not from a book, just from the road.Howes Welding Inc.www.howesweldinginc.com
Reply:Great job! How do you guys price hand rail jobs? Is it by the foot/hour?
Reply:That's some really nice work.I think harbor Freight sells a three-roller bender, a vertical one with a big handwheel on it, for something like $200.00
