so i got some extra shifter kart wheels and tires, and some steel so im gonna make a kart for all my welders. i need some ideas for the hubs beforei order some bearings, the cart is gonna have steering like a lillte wagon. heres some pics of what im working with.how do u like the tires. i think this things gonna look sweet, the fronts are 5.5 inchs wide and the rears are 11. i wanna fill these things with foam or somthing that will make them soild any ideas. heres a pic of the bolt patteren on the hub. im gonna mount the bottle between the rear wheels. so whatta think i should have the lower frame done tommorrow night.lincoln weld pac 100Hobart handler 120Lincoln "BuZZ box"Lincoln Precision Tig 225
Reply:Cool project.Now im looking around for some kart rims and tyres too.
Reply:You could probably fill the tires with foam if you pull the valve stem out and then break the bead on one side of the tire to let the foam expand, or at least be able to fill the tire. It would work pretty good if you were able to fill the tire completely. |
