Amazing Barn Find of Antique Cars (Doors were welded shut for years)

Hey guys, I found this site and thought you guys would get a kick out of. What do you think a collection like this would cost to reproduce and does anyone know the actual story behind it. How long was the door welded shut?http://amazingbarnfind.blogspot.com/Jay-O
Reply:I heard about this a few yrs ago, apparently some one bought the farm it was on, and didn't know what was inside until they opened the doors

Reply:Real pictures, inaccurate story.  (Yup, visited all the links and did some reading ....)Real story, short version: The 180+ cars belong to an auto dealer, who purchased the many different vehicles over the years.  Each car was driven to the barn for storage until he decided what he wanted to do with them. And the pictures?  The owner simply hired a photographer to document his collection.  Not quite as incredible as the "found in a barn" rumor, but fascinating nonetheless, and an awesome personal collection of vehicles.
Reply:barn finds are a true subject..... i have a neighbor that has two pole barns that has at least 50 cars in them, mostly odd ball vehicles, but still way cool... lots of studebakers, kaisers, old indian motorcycles, etc... dating mostly from the 30's thru about the early 70's... i think the oldest is about 1918 or so, and the newest is an AMC about 1974... i sure need a project vehicle, think i'll go over and see him again tomorrow..... and see if i can talk him out of something.. lol
