Bike rack and cargo hauler

Friend wanted a bike rack to specifically support his expensive bikes by the tires and not the frame, and then also double as a cargo rack for hauling bags of rocks or mulch or a cooler, etc..So we settled on this design after numerous changes.  2x2x1/8 square, 1x1x16ga square, 2x2x1/8 angle.  He can lay a piece of plywood across the top for cargo.  We left ourselves the ability to extend it with another module that would slide into the end of this rack for a 3rd or 4th bike.Welded with my Lincoln 3200HD .030 Innershield FCAWclick for larger picsNo BikesSupport folds down for easy loading/unloadingAnd one bike loaded up
