How can I tell if this tank is galvanized or not?

I was given a large water tank that came off of a concrete redi-mix truck and I was wanting to use it on my next smoker project.  It may be galvanized but I was wondering if there is a for sure way to tell?  A friend of mine told me that the outside of the tank may be galvanized but the inside wasn't and that it would be fine to use.  I don't want to invest the time and money in a smoker that will poison everyone who eats off of it.  Here are a few pictures I took with my cellphone.  Any help would be great, thanks.In the last picture you can see where I put some heat to it with a torch.
Reply:That will make a nice smoker.  Heat a spot RED with the torch.  If its galv, you will see white powder around the edges.   If its on the outside, its on the inside.  Galv is usually hot dip.DavidReal world weldin.  When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
Reply:Oh, and put a fan on the work while you heat it to blow away the plumes of white stringy floating zinc.  And if you are indoors wear a respirator.  Zinc poisoning can happen fast and you will regret you didn't take the proper precautions for the next 24 hours as you puke your guts out.
Reply:or you can make a quick tack weld on it if its galvanized it will powder up and burn off like they said be careful. ive had metal fume fever before you don't want it unless you like the filling of puking so hard your eyes fill like there gonna pop out  if it is galvanized mask up and grind it out350P 30A spool gun cut master 51  syncro 250 other stuff " take a dog off the street and make him prosper and he will not bite you sad the same cannot be said for man" i didnt use punctuation just to piss you off

Reply:scrub with muratic acid, but this willl be cooking devive so thats a bad idea, so get a full face resporator, and stay downwind of people i guess. confim the it is galvinized. take a piece off and see if it reacts with mauratic acid
