has anybody ever took a 5in by 1 in thick tube test
Reply:I've run 2" XX, 6" XX and 8" XX. What's your trouble?
Reply:got to take that test wednesday just want to know some tips on it

Reply:whats the alloy? may require pre/post heat dealing with that thickness. 6g test? if shes a tig root, pour the rod to her, but a 5" pipe with a 1" wall thickness is cake man, lots of time to react, and pleanty of material to use some heat.
Reply:took the 5 in today it was easy they made us put a 6010 root pass in it i was really surpised they didnt make us tig it got to take the 2in tomorow it tig root and hot pass and 7018 out ,have to take a stianless one on friday and it is tig root and filled flush and stick the cap . i have never sticked stainless |
