Reply:Any of the machine manufacturer websites can provide info on the machines: www.millerwelds.com/products/mig www.hobartwelders.com/products/mig www.lincolnelectric.com www.htpweld.com www.thermalarc.com www.esab.com and many others. Miller, Hobart and ESAB all have alot of process and training info on their websites: Check www.millerwelds.com/resources. There is also alot of interesting reading on various industries that use welding on the Miller site: Check www.millerwelds.com/interests. Links to the Hobart and ESAB learning sections are: www.esab.com.sg/asia/en/education/index.cfm and www.hobartwelders.com/techtips.htmlHope that helps you out with what you are looking for.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op
Reply:Do you need this for long straight welds? If so you can use any type of crawler that will hold your mig torch and travel the length of your piece. BUGO, GULLCO, ESAB, and KOIKE ARONSON all make these tractors that you just set your torch in, set the gun angle, and travel speed, and hit the button. I've got customers that use these tractors for long straight welds, and long cuts with either plasma or oxy-fuel. |
