I know it's not a project or a picture, but it has to do with the projects. When I work on something, after I run and dress a bead, and after it cools, I try to give it a shot of primer as soon as I can. And I got to thinking about all the different types of primer. I've used Krylon, Rustoleum. They have been greym, black, rust, sandable, self etching and so on. What do you guys use and more important WHY?

Reply:I don"t paint. Just usually prime and deliver.
Reply:I prime with what ever is on hand . I like to spray it when the welds still warm to give the bake on , I don't know if this helps ,but I think it's cool.Daye

Reply:What is Rustoleum?I just use red primer applied as soon after I weld as practical. Then I top coat x 2 ASAP, too. Having said that, I naturally have things around the place that never get past primer.
