I mostly just read the forums and don't post too much, but recently I have been a bit more active so I thought I'd try to post a couple pics of my own work. I work in aerospace during the day and much of our work is military so I can't post up pics of those jobs, but here are some recent things I've been working on in my shop in the evenings. I'll attach a few pics of a counter top with two sinks built into it. This is all 16 gauge 304 ss. I made the drains custom to fit the drains they wanted. the other pics are for some small hoppers I make for another customer.RegardsER70S-2 Attached Images
Reply:looks like a fish flay station, your work is perfect, no visible warpage.
Reply:Thanks, there's a bit of warpage, a little oil canning on the one side, but once I glue the 3/4" plywood underneath it will control that. Oddly enough it's going into someone's bathroom as a vanity top. Personanlly i think it looks too industrial and doesn't suit my taste, but they are going for that "modern" look. I did a partial stainless shower stall as well.
Reply:we need more pics of your work to verify the perfection... lol...great job and as you said, too industrial for my liking...post more often...
Reply:When you do mine, put the sinks closer together.A butterfly without wings, is just an ugly bug
Reply:You mentioned glueing the stainless to plywood. What adhesive do you use for this?Benson's Mobile Welding - Dayton, OH metro area - AWS Certified Welding Inspector
