Question about grinding contaminated tungsten

I went out a bought a dedicated grinder for the tungsten, what about grinding contaminated electrodes on this grinder?Since it has two wheels I figured if I use the coarse one to remove most of the contaminated part then regrind on the fine wheel?What works for you guys?
Reply:For me, it depends on how contaminated the end of the tungsten is....If it is really bad, then a lay the tungsten on the edge of the table with the bad part hanging over and use a hammer (or whatever is handy) to break the end off.  Then I grind a new point or ball the end (depending on what I am doing)If is isn't so bad, just grind it and don't worry

Reply:I use 3 places on the same wheel..Start..Shape..Finish.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:If you can manage to keep the tungsten out of the weld puddle, it will last quite a long time. You won't have to resharpen it very often as long as you can do this. Reply:I have not yet hit the tungsten to the weld pool but rather am getting very small fine sparks (just some times) flying up and then it's all down hill  At first I figured that it was just the mill scale, but the last time it happened I cleaned the piece very well with a 60 grit flap disc...
Reply:Sparks?  Sounds like something is wrong with your gas assuming your material is clean.  Try some acetone too after you sand it down.
Reply:Gas flow is ok, and problem is not and all the time one, but I should wipe the work down first, maybe it was some ground off crap flaring up...Going to go back at it tonight.
