Brick fence has 5 openings 3'x4', building 1 for each. The scrolls on floor were purchased from http://www.kingmetals.com/ These were made of 20mm solid square steel, they weigh 20lbs each. I purchased some 20mm barstock also. The assy as seen weighs 93lbs.The table in pic was purchased from a trailer fab shop that went bust. 3/8 top 4'x8', the builder did not put any support for top and the 2x2 legs are welded directly on tables top Not the way I would have done it. I got it for 40 bucks thoughThe top is not flat so.... I used angle iron to simulate opening size and then dropped some 3/4 tube on angle for stand offs. Angle bridges dips in top so I have flat work surface on the standoffs. Most of the jobs I do doesn't require a perfect flat table so I just do the standoff thing when needed. One pic of mig welds, .035 70s6, c25, 450wfs, used a PowerMig 300. Then I flap disc buffed the damm welds down.Peter Attached Images
Reply:Wow! That's alot of little welds. Looks really nice and I'd be real interested in seeing them in the brick fence.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!
