Streched the trailer 3', added the exp. metal fire wood box, work top, burner eye, and fold down step, and mounted the smoker. Reply:Don't want to hijack this thread, basically the guy who owns the welder won't leave the adjustments alone. he's turned every screw and adjustment he has found till the welder "binds" and backfires when an arc is struck. It's welding way too hot for the settings and pops and won't reach the proper RPMs to work right. His welder, his BBQ, he can deal with it. Reply:Giz, nice Western theme! I like the way you incorporated the spurs as hinges and the horseshoes as part of the handle.Denrep, good eye! That's a '56 Mercury with a '55 DeSoto grille. I have a bunch of car pictures, and this was one of the first ones I found wiith a big chrome grille. Btw, that picture was taken at the Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton, CA, on July 11th.

Reply:Bout 80% done, only thing left is a small smoker box, and install a temp gauge. Maybe modify my air holes. But total cost was $20 in high temp paint, rest was all scrap. I'm gonna break it in tomorrow maybe a brisket not sure. I gave it a good 2hour raging burn to get rid of all the crap inside. Still kind of sketch about cooking on it. Even though there's no odor or anything inside anymore. It was welded with Mig and 6011
