Hello all, I just purchased a HOBART CYBERTIG welder off EBAY and I'm trying to get some professional opinions of what it might be worth. Here are the specs, any opinions would be greatly appreciated. (assume working condition)HOBART CYBER TIGMODEL: CT-300Serial #: 12RT-69114Spec: 5283D-1With a:MAGNAFLUX R-1000 watercooler attachment. It is a 300A unit and is complete. Single phase, 3 voltage levels. (can't remember but it's like 220, 440, 535?)I'm purely guessing but it might be vintage of late 80's or early 90's????Thanks
Reply:"Magnaflux" TIG cooler ?? You sure you haven't been had ? Magnaflux has always made top notch inspection equipment but never heard of them venturing into welding. Some of their higher end wet mag machines have coolers, wonder if someone adapted one ?Anything worth doing is worth doing RIGHT
Reply:Erased this post to hide my stupidity
Reply:OH SH*T. Sorry, it's DYNAFLUX not MAGNAFLUX. I'm a moron
Reply:The Hobart Syber Tig, used to be the" in think" for Tig Welders. When I saw one in the early 70's, it scared me almost to death. So many knobs to turn, but when you look close, they become simple. Only now they incorporate all in one setting, but they are a good machine.
