Reply:A contactor is a contactor - provided same ratings, voltage, poles, etc. There are a few exceptions - you can use a double to replace a single but not the other way around. When any government, or any church for that matter, undertakes to say to its subjects, "This you may not read, this you must not see, this you are forbidden to know," the end result is tyranny and oppression, no matter how holy the motives.
Reply:The original LN 25's came with out a contactor in them.

Reply:Yes. Just check the input current for the two machines and be sure the Magnum SG does not draw more input current than the LN-25 OR, even better, if you have ratings on the contactor (almost always printed on the contactor body), just be sure that the rated input current for the Magnum SG does not exceed the contact rating for the contactor for the same voltage. And, of course, as SRO1911 said, you have to be sure the number of poles is sufficient for the Magnum. Is there something more subtle in your question? Are you asking HOW to rig it up?awright
