First Trlr Load

Not much, only 600 feet of pipe.  Around 6000lbs. on a trlr weighing around 3500lbs.Screwball engineering seemed to hold together.  Looks like the hitch is gonna be okStart hauling full pallets of Quick Crete tomorrow.  The fun never endsDidn't buy the truck to park it and admire it.Kind of miss the feel and sound of the old Chrysler big block.  Listened to it for 31yrs.This modern one is quiet, almost too quiet.  But the AC sure is nice Attached Images"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/

Reply:Yeah, it's a hay trailer actually.  The bales sit up on the rails, the trailer is fully hinged over the axles, and the load tips to the passenger side.  It's built exactly 1" off center to the right.It was good for the pipe.  It's 32 feet long, and handles full joints of drill pipe, but on the casing, I guess that's what it is, the pipe had to be cut down to be hauled.  The 4" stuff comes in 40 foot joints.Any port in a storm"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/

Reply:Hey trailer hell all we had was a forty foot goose neck. From eight to eleven years old I had to drive the truck through the pasture without throwing my dad off the trailer.
