And yet another genius

This trailer was brought to me this morning, it had been on a job site where someone tried to remove the coupler lock from it in an apparent attempt to steal it. The locking lever had been bent all the way forward so that it no longer is capable of locking the trailer to the ball.So what does this genius do?        He hooks the trailer (loaded with all sorts of cement block, mixers, rebar, etc...) to his truck, takes out his roll of electrical tape and tapes the coupler closed, then proceeds to drive up I-95 north for 2 hours from Ft. Lauderdale to Vero Beach at 70 m.p.h.It truly amazes me how people can be that stupid. Some people just don't know how lucky they are that nothing happened. Reply:man, i lived in vero, moved to LA bout a year ago,  i miss everything about florida, but one thing:  dumbarsses.  well, it may be just as bad her too, my hog hunting buddy was trailering back a brand new 2009 harley davidson fatbob with custom exhaust (hold your breath) and the guy in fornt of him passed him, then my buddy passe him.  happened to look back and see their trailer coupling kissing the pavement.  would been bad if the other truck was in front and hurt his fat bob.
