has any one bought 1/2x1/2 solid alum bar lately looking for some pricesi need 2,133 feet of it
Reply:That is a lot of square aluminum! Here is a link to some online prices that I use as a guide. Never compared the aluminum pricing but the steel is usually fairly close in price to what I pay locally. http://www.metalsdepot.com/products/...cc=%20&aident=
Reply:Look here. http://www.emjmetals.com/We purchase 100,000" a year. best price. Ask for Wayne or Rick.jim
Reply:Based on the amount you are ordering, you should have no problem ordering DIRECTLY from the Manufacturer, as long as your order meets the 'minimum' requirements. Which yours surely does....Cheers,/Jman...
Reply:Eastern Metals are probably about the best your gonna find in Florida, I deal with them mostly when I need aluminum sheet.http://www.easternmetal.com/index.htmI am what I am, Deal with it!If necessity is the Mother of Invention, I must be the Father of Desperation!
Reply:thanks guys good info who would be direct supplierdabar your in vero beach ever herd of apple machinei herd they have good prices on metal
Reply:For my larger orders of steel I use Alro Metals in Boca Raton or Modern Welding in Orlando, for my smaller orders or the "gotta have it right now" orders I go to Apple Machine on Orange Ave. in Ft.Pierce. Their prices are comparable to the big guys but they are higher on aluminum and exotic metals. As I said earlier Eastern Metals is about the best your gonna find down here for aluminum. If you find better please let me know.As a side note, A-1 metals/Turner Machine is a brother of the owner from Apple Machine, they are about a mile or so apart from each other on Orange Ave. Apple generally beats A-1's prices but not always. I deal with both companies and have always gotten very good service from both, maybe a little better from Apple though. If you need their phone numbers or addresses let me know and I'll send em to ya.I am what I am, Deal with it!If necessity is the Mother of Invention, I must be the Father of Desperation!
