Reply:That sounds like a pretty good gig. And for sure will keep you busy, being that the kids/employees tend to abuse the equipment and all.Miller Millermatic 212... and that's about it... for now...
Reply:Congrats Ed Mac, That is no doubt a great rev stream. I have to ask, how did you go about procuring the McDs work. What avenues did you have to follow. I'll understand if you do not want to share this info.. but had to ask. Reply:Yeah, McDonalds employees are one step above trained monkeys. I should know, I worked there for just over a year. "When this light is on and you hear beeping, press the button and shake the fries. When this light is on and you hear a different beeping, the fries are done, remove them from the oil". Yes, ding, fries are done... Would you like an apple pie with that? I never broke anything while I was there (that was 25 years ago), though I could see how things would get broken with some of the roughing around that went on there. Reply:Congrats on the work find.Brink and I did some similar quick jobs for the local Dominos pizza locations awhile back so we know about the almost endless source of repairs that can be had from fast food establishments. Don't forget that some take longer to set up than it does to actually do the repair when you're figuring your estimate/quote/charges but I'm sure you're well aware of that.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!
Reply:Ed Mac, Sounds like a pretty sweet deal. Maybe you can pic up Burger King as well.[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFQyib5ZQZY[/ame]As others have mentioned I am sure that they will keep you lined up with work. Probably pretty easy money work as well. I would also imagine that the things you will see while in the facility will convince you to not eat there. jrw159
Reply:I wouldn't be doing any repairs on anything stainless that was food grade. To much chance for bacteria to grow in the weld repair if there was a inperfection.Lincoln 300 Vantage 2008300 Commander 1999SA250 1999SA200 1968Miller Syncrowave 200XMT350MPA/S-52E/xr-15Xtreme 12vs Millermatic 251 w/30A Millermatic 251 Dialarc 250 Hypertherm 1250 GEKA & Bantom Ironwokers
