I just finished up on a single step center rail today... I did a little math on autocad and found my lengths and angles. I glued the top part of the rail together and cleaned it before adding the supports to make things a little easier. Then I drew out the bottom pads with 6" extra on each end of a strip so I could roll them to the step face radius's. After a quick sheer, I had only a little sanding to do because I incorporated the corner radius's in the burn along with the holes. To make sure things were true, I did the math to figure out how far to shim the rail up to meet the middle of the pads.So far I'm into it about 3 hours or so (blending welds take quite a while on the insides)I'll try to remember to post the finished and installed rail.
