This is a continuation of the thread on cleaning metal and the difference you can get when TIGing.  Here are some photos of the brackets and some of the other goodies I have been working on.  The photos do not do the weld justice in my opinion.  They look much better in person...but you can get the idea.Best Times with 434 Naturally Aspirated Vette60 - 1.261/8 -  6.37@ 107.25 MPH 1/4 - 10.08 & 134.9MPH1/4 - 9.60@144MPH

Reply:Ski - looks good! Just a bit curious why you're TIG welding all of that when I thought you had a great MIG machine?John -  fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!-  bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com

Reply:Is that a Mittler Bros Housing or someone elses?  Where did you purchase the four link brackets from? and as for the weld, a little cold for my tastes but hey it takes all kinds to build a freeway!
Reply:The rear setups are from Moser; and the brackets that are tig welded are custom made pieces that I fabricate up to fit the stock vette frame rails.Best Times with 434 Naturally Aspirated Vette60 - 1.261/8 -  6.37@ 107.25 MPH 1/4 - 10.08 & 134.9MPH1/4 - 9.60@144MPH
