I bought new side stickers for my Dynasty 200 (the old one's were beaten up and I like my stuff to look great).Any tips on removing the old ones and adhesive and installing the new ones? Can I use the soapy water method with this kind of sticker?Im afraid if I just apply it, it will stick so quickly that I wont be able to adjust it.Thanks in advance.TA Arcmaster 300CM3XMT 304S22P12 suitcase feederX-Treme 12VSOptima pulserTA161SMaxstar 150STLHypertherm PM45OP setupStihl 020AVP, 039, 066 Magnum
Reply:peel off as much of the bulk from the sticker by hand as you can, then use adhesive remover or goo gone to soften the rest up to remove it. to re-apply use a little soapy water (very little soap, like a drop) so you can slide it into exact position, then squeegy it in place. probably best to do this with the cover removed from the welder.miller 330a bp TIGmiller dynasty 200DX TIGmillermatic 185 MIGthermal dynamics cutmaster 101 plasma cuttersnap-on YA5550 plasma cutterhypertherm powermax 30 plasma cutterbaileigh CS225 cold sawetc....

Reply:I prefer heat gun or steal your wife's hair dryer. With a bit of luck and not too much work, the sticker and most of the glue will come off in one shot.I'm pretty sure a quick swipe of acetone will take off the glue and not the paint. There are quite a few solvents out there that work to remove glue residue.Next question: What wax to use to keep everything shiny Con Fuse!Miller Dynasty 350Millermatic 350P-Spoolmatic 30AMiller Multimatic 200Hypertherm PowerMax 1000G3Miller Maxstar 200DX
Reply:yeah your right, forgot to even mention that, heat gun may help in removal... some are nasty and come of in tiny pieces but some may actually peel off well with heat too. depends if it's more paper or vinyl basedmiller 330a bp TIGmiller dynasty 200DX TIGmillermatic 185 MIGthermal dynamics cutmaster 101 plasma cuttersnap-on YA5550 plasma cutterhypertherm powermax 30 plasma cutterbaileigh CS225 cold sawetc....
