Too see if it gives you any idea if it sounds like it should, I found when I tried that higher level on that 1/2" steel Piece machine did not stay at 145A and the handle would slide back towards 120APlus it sounded like the machine was starting to jump at the higher level, kinda of like it did when the garage had been wired with 8 guage wire with a 30A breaker which did not give the machine enough power and the welder sounded rougher and would pop the breaker.It since seems better with a 40A breaker and here I hope you can see if it sounds closer to normal.http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v1...t=102_1254.flvLast edited by partsman; 02-12-2010 at 02:06 AM.
