who is the boss ?

Hi everyone i work in metal fabrication for 2 years, before i was working in some wood fabrication shop part time with school and before when i had 15 or 16 (now im 22) i was working in a bakery! the things is since im working in metal fabrication i worked in 3 different shop, 1 because of bankruptcy, and 2 skip, 2 of these 3 place i worked had no foreman, in one of those shop it was like a familly place there was the boss with the office, his wife and his son (his son only work on field) i was alone in the shop and my boss was always go and out in his office but never in the shop.The probleme with that was when my boss told me something to do, his son (when field work was done he went in the shop) was always pushing me on different things to do and if my job wasn't done his father was pissed off at me haha wtf...In the shop that i work right now its more funny, decent company 10 employe, 2 boss in the office but no one in the shop, with the cours i had a school im supposed to do fitting at my table and learn through that OR (because i have not a lot experience) working with other fitter, but the stupid thing is i don't have probleme to be the ''yes men'' because im working for this company for only 6 months and i understand im new there, you guys won't believe what they ask me, i don't know what the hell my boss see in me but he start to ask me stuff that a foreman have to do, like having the cellphone and resolve ''light'' field probleme, and order for field workers, he start to ask me if someone was late to start work on the morning WTF i work there for 6 month, and the worst thing, he start last month to ask me give job to old fitter, look at this, im 6 month experience in this company, you guys know how old fitter and welder are, its hard sometimes to be friendly with them, even them don't understand why i have to do this but they know that come from the boss....ho yes one more totaly stupid thing haha, he ask me to push on welder on some jobs haha, one was really pissed off and don't do anything of what i said....haha anyway im not a trouble maker and i know that i can have good experience in different shop, the ''bankruptcy'' one was so nice, its sad!share on that! and sorry for my english hope you guys can read me!Calculator > Bevel Square
Reply:Some people don't like the responsibility, of being in charge, others have the aptitude, some are just to good at what they do to be bothered at what there doing..... Job security... Just be fair with your coworkers and it all works out, being in charge isn't easy but it's needed

Reply:I was just in your shoes.... Did you take my old job?... I got quite a bit more experience but long story short I start at a new company within 6 months everyone in my dept either quits or gets fired. I end up with a boat load more responsibilities (I took the job just to put my head down and work) and what do I get in return?.... NOTHING! "We can't give you a raise, you've only been here 6 months"My advise... Get your experience. Learn from the old guys. And move on if you start to feel used.
