Hello am a welding student hoping to try and get in CBI after graduation. Can someone tell me the requirements. Test procedure. plate thickness, welding position, rod sizes and any info i need
Reply:It depeneds on the job their building, but they run alot of 3/16 5p and 5/32 lohi. If your brand new you will get to be good friends with a 9' grinder chasing a 3oclock or pimping on the ground, assuming its a tank job as thats 99% of what cbi does anymore. Good luck, if they do put you in a vert buggy it will be the lead buggy so their allstar vert welder can keep the push on. |
