Hey, I am looking for some pictures to help me out.I am currently making 3 trades training presentations:- Oxygen Lancing- Oxyfuel Cutting- Basic WeldingI am looking for some pictures that can relate to those courses, for example someone decked out in safety gear spraying sparks with the torch. Preferably good quality pictures as they will be blown up on the projector. Interested in finding some great "artisticy" shots (ex. an iron working spraying down sparks, steel mill shots would be great), diagrams or parts/tools, and also maybe some pictures of what not to do would be greatly appreciated. Looking for some pictures to show the sparks and molten metal that is produced when using the above tools to enforce the safety aspect required for this trade as well. Therefore, the students should be able to get a better grasp on the seriousness of it all.I will be searching through the site a little as well asking for permission to use others already posted pictures. Its proving to be difficult to find higher quality trades pictures let alone ones to do about oxygen lancing. Type in oxygen lancing into "google" and you get more pages about Lance Armstrong than oxygen lancing....arghThanks for your help in advance Attached Images
Reply:For ox lance try exothermic torch....Mike
Reply:an exothermic torch is not really the same as a regular oxygen lance though...plus they are mostly pictured much shorter...
Reply:That second picture of someone stick welding is not on topic either.http://www.angelarmory.com/store/ind...arent=152&pg=1Exothermic cutting. Attached ImagesCity of L.A. Reply:if you google "oxygen lancing"  with the quotes that should eliminate your lance armsrong results  quotes or hyphens   oxygen-lancing  will search for the phrase instead of the individual words-- fredLincoln 180C MIG

Reply:A couple things wrong here.Anyone want to take a guess? Attached Images
Reply:Not being a pipefitter, only thing I can see looks a bit funky is the elbow welded to the larger coupling, pipesleeve or whatever it is. I know it's not a reducer, don't know if it's wrong, just doesn't look right....Mike
Reply:wow!!!! isolation valve upstream of relief and looks like inlet of relief is 2 1/2'' or 3'' and they ran 2''.  What's between isolation valve and relief inlet ???   Hard to make out. What service is this line??? Hope nothing happened!
Reply:i see alot of different sized flanges that shouldnt be stuck together...
Reply:Well,I guess my guess will be that the vent comes before the safety relief valve, and the valve to the entire assembly is off.UA Local 598
Reply:Impressive, see now thats what I am looking for....was it your job to fix this mess, or did you just come across this at a job site?
