Just finished mounting grinder and vise on welding table. I mounted them so i could drop them down to use the total top of the table. Your thoughts? Attached Images

Reply:Interesting idea, but it looks a bit awkward to use to me, especially the grinder. My 1st thought was it needs some sort of handle to grab, but I don't know where you would put it to be useful.I'm also curious about the big hole in your top. Reply:Nice, I did the same thing a few years back with a Williams Low Buck tube notcher. Didn't use it often but is ready to use " in a flash".Peter

Reply:Nice idea, interesting way to set up the grinder and vise. Good idea on the grillework for the open center of the table, too. Now, you just make a small firepit, mount it on rails so it slides underneath that big hole, and .... |
