Anyone know anything about Clarke Welders. I am looking for a 180-190 amp MIG welder. The Clarke is around $400. Anyone have any experiance with them?
Reply:Try Forney , they are tha same thing , painted Green.Clarke left the US market a couple years ago , they still sell in Europe and Canada.

Reply:I have an old clarke 180en that my dad thinks he bought about 15 years ago. It doesn't appear that old though but it could be. For what it is it welds nicely. I've even welded aluminum with it no problem. The one I have says made in Italy on the inside. I remember reading somewhere that the machines sold in the US are made in China now. I don't know if that is true or not though. |
