Reply:I've been hassled by local authorities for shooting off Model Rockets in a ball field by my house. I am sure that if I used one of these in my backyard, I'd get the National Guard rolling onto my front lawn. Not saying I'm not interested in making one mind you.The world is amazing when you are slightly strange.

Reply:Hmmm .... drop a small ring down int he bottom of the cannon, just over the top of the side pipe, and then make a "base" out of cardboard to load the candy on.  Attach an air hose with a trigger, and you're good to go.Cool idea ..... now I gotta have one ....

Reply:Yep, little kids and projectiles....absolutely nothing could go wrong there.  "Hey, come on over, stand your kid down in the lawn there and I'll fire off this cannon with candy in it, trust me (with your kids) ... it's safe."One of the dumbest things I think I've seen.  Anyway, the dad in me had to say it.  Now I'm done.
Reply:Careful what kind of candy you put in them.  My brother loaded one up with suckers and other candy (tootsie pops or some other large kind of sucker), and one came down and hit a parked cars windshield and cracked it.  He had to replace it.  Also, make sure you put enough wadding on the bottom and around it, (my brother uses 3 layers of cardboard on the bottom, and then cuts up a big stock card paper to engulf the on the bottom and sides (kind of hard to explain).  The first time it was shot off, some of the candy did get scorched..... not too tasty.    The Lord has declared, "This is my work and my glory--to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man"  Moses 1:39Link: My name is John, and I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.-- ColdCreekWorks.com --
