i need some shaft collars for 1" cold roll. will 1" i.d. collars fit 1" cold roll? hopefully someone has tried this. gonna order the collars online ( ebay) , just wanna order once thanksdave

Reply:found some today at the local motion industries, 1" will work if polished/ground a bit, 1 1/16" worked no prob.dave
Reply:Cold rolled doesn't have a close enough diameter tollerance to work all of the time with shaft collars. You can buy ground shaft stock which does. It will also work with bearings and whatever. |
