I had a few minutes the other day to scratch an item off my list... the chuck cart. It was built by an old timer many years ago. Loaded with chucks it weighs over 500 lbs. Moving it around had always been a pain. I thought... well all it needs is a handle...I started by bending the handle from some old 1/2 water pipe. Originally I had planned on mounting the tube on the side. But me and the bender had a problem... I thought the offset was seven inches... instead of six... so my stubs came out short. So I mounted the handle on the top. A compromise.I then cut some gussets. I wanted the handle to have a little bit of angle to it would be more comfortable. Turned out ok. Not sure I like the design but it works. Now I need to get some larger casters for it. Attached ImagesLast edited by forhire; 03-29-2010 at 05:39 PM.
