Thinking about making a swing-set for the kids

I assume galvanized schedule 40 pipe is the stuff to use. I know the fumes from welding galvanized are no good for you, and I can protect myself.My question is how to deal with the area were the zinc is burned off afterward? just silver spray-paint?
