This is an old project and I put it in because it was done many years ago when I had an old Airco buzz box, a 7" grinder, a saber saw, hack saw, router, a radial arm saw, a compressor, a 1/2" drill and a paint gun. The screw was from a Record vise. I painted it with two part epoxy. My daughters entered it in a county fair and won 2nd prize. Anyway, you don't have to have a lot of tools to get things done. I look back and think how spoiled I am now.
Reply:That is way cool. When I was younger I worked with an old weldor. I remember asking where I ould buy something and he told me"You got a torch, welder and a grinder you ought to be able to build just about any thing. So just build it."
Reply:He was right, too.
Reply:Looks better than the old cider presses I remember. They were untreated weathered oak, some galvy straps and and lots of rusty iron. Didn't matter, the end results were good. Good work."The things that will destroy America are prosperity at any price, peace at any price, safety first instead of duty first, the love of soft living and the get rich quick theory of life." -Theodore Roosevelt |
