hey guys, i picked up a drill dr 750x this last weekend. my buddy figured it out and sharpened the bit we needed at that moment and i didnt get a chance to use it until tonight. i must say i am very pleased. i definatly recommend watching the dvd that comes with it. i brought my set that i use at work ,home and sharpened them tonight. it was very easy and i sharpened the whole set in under an hour. split points and all. chucked everyone of them up and ran it in the drill press. everyone of them cut like new. now if i could just find the time to do my set at home. over all, it was worth every penny. i highly recommend it.Millermatic 211weldpack 3200 squirtgunsquare wave 200victory journeyman kitHypertherm 30xptoo much other crap to listtinkerer extraordinaire

Reply:drill doctors are awesome, i use one all the timeIm no good at sharpening bits by hand, and ive never met anyone who is either to actually show me.
Reply:I recently bought one also..yep they are good.I was showing a guy how good a job that it did and he starts telling me he could do better with a grinder(BS)I've sharpen my share that way but not as good as the Drill dr. |
