Harbor Freight dual 151

Just bought a dual mig 151 and can't get it to function. Does it require a 240 outlet or does it run on 110. All I have is 110. Yes, I've read the instruction manual but I don't have enough knowledge to understand what the manual is saying regarding electrical needs.

Reply:The site says it's a 230V. You can't mistake the plugs. If you only have 110V, you will not be able to plug it in, except the dryer socket.

Reply:Thanks everybody. Obviously I'm new to this stuff. The Harbor Freight Dual Mig 151 is 230 electrical service supply only. 110 regular household current won't do. After figuring this out I was able to install a 230 volt breaker in the existing circuit breaker box and run the appropiate 10/3 circuit to where I needed it. Machine appears to be running ok now. Will probably try to do some practice welding tomorrow. Will be my first time to weld and I'm not young by any means.
Reply:Did my first ever welding today. Of course the quality was way down the scale but the end resuslt was very nice. I guess I can say welding is fun since I don't do it for a living. Thanks again for the info re electrical requirements.
