Reply:I'd love to find plans for a little puddle jumper for my local preserve lakes. Something on the lines of a mini pontoon would be nice. Google hasn't been kind with giving up any plans.

Reply:Thats very nice and HUGE. But the welding lack precision. And if that boat is aluminum, then the trailer is overkill. Two axles are plenty.I would love to build a pontoon boat.Oh, the projects.
Reply:That'd be nice littlefuzz. It's wierd, I found one company based out of minnesota, just the small boat and trailer and they want $3000+???  Like it's been said, just two pontoons and a frame for a plywood deck... how hard can that be to make?Jax

Reply:Heh! I don't even have $18 right now. Atleast until I find a job. Just something I would like to build in the future. I actually don't need a motor, I have a small trolling motor that I use when I rent boats at local forest preserve lakes. (There's a ban on gas motors anyways.) And it's big enough to push me around these small lakes. Jax

Reply:I would never trust a boat that size on two 6000# axles. It's a lovely boat and I bet it was a lot of fun and frustration to build.
Reply:This boat was dunked for the first time this weekend!! His top speed seen on the sea trial....40knots!!! It's gigantic for what it is, and I hope he paints it properly.... there is no way to anodize something that big!!!And then, after so much work...... you have it in your hand, and you look over to your side...... and the runner has run off. Leaving you holding the prize, wondering when the runner will return.
