I first saw this mailbox about five years ago, when I was welding some bow rails for a Marina near by. I thought it looked amazing. I figured it would be garbage by now, especially down by the water. But when I passed it today it looks as good as it did when I saw it five years ago. Who knows how long it was there before that.Just thought I would share it with you guys. Looks like a cool project. It has a door on the front you cannot see. Just like the old mailboxes. It even has U.S Post Office stamped on it too. Sincerely, William McCormick Attached Images
Reply:Outstanding, must not be in one of those communities that everyone but the owner has a say in what can be in the yard!Matt
Reply:Great mailbox, but it wouldn't last a week around here. Some jerk would steal it or some idiot would smack it with a stick.... Some people just have no appreciation for unusual things
Reply:I lived down in this area years back. Everyone is called a harbor rat. I don't think you would want to mess with this guys mail box. A lot of crazy bikers down there. You just do not do things like that there unless you want to stop some guys bat with your head. Sincerely, William McCormick
