I am in the process of building a cart for my new welder and I need to know what the height is before the taper on an 80cf cylinder. Just trying to figure out the ideal height for the chain. Sorry, I didn't have the coin to buy the tank yet but I will when I can. The local steel supply quoted me $22 for full cylinder exchange of C25 with 80cf cylinder....does that sound right?
Reply:so we're litterally putting the cart before the horse here huh? you'd be good anywhere between 18" and 24" on your chain placement. There are no problems. There are only solutions. It's your duty to determine the right one.Hobart Handler 210Airco 225 Amp MSM Stinger
