Reply:I wouldn't see why not ,just need to adapt from reg output to npt for air fitting. Might need to add oil to replace cooling lube effect of condensed air from compressor(jk)ps this was going to be the next big thing a few years ago and fizzled, i liked the idea ,small high  psi tank ,go anywhere with tool no line dragging after you .Last edited by pennswoodsed; 05-09-2012 at 03:59 PM.Reason: more thoughts on subject

Reply:I use the Western 200 psi fixed pressure reg. It's designed for that sort of thing.  I suggest large diameter hose for more expansion room even if your fittings are small. I love having CO2 and will continue to collect cylinders.http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=114071

Reply:Ed,I'll stop by the LWS on the way back from work and see if they have any spare trade-in regulators. Probably won't be for CO2, but should work for your minimal needs. Quick stop in at the hydraulic supply should provide the fittings. See what I can come up with for you.EDIT: Just noticed you have a regulator already. Shot me the thread dimensions and I'll just pick up a fitting at the hydraulic supply house.
