I don't have a garage. Anybody doing welding in basement? My concern is the fumes. thinking of putting a vent in. Anybody done that? Just wondering what has worked for people. Thanks.Be nice and pay it forward.
Reply:The first welding shop I worked for was started by two brothers in the basement of their mom's house when they where 18. All the steel came in the tiny basement vent window and everything fabricated when out the bilco hatch (20' lengths wouldn't make the turn around the water heater threw the bilco hatch). They had a chop saw and a stick welder.
