Reply:these are my favshttp://www.jtillman.com/products/?SKU=850they are elkskin and the back are lined but the palms aren't so you have better dexterity.
Reply:Never had any problems using these in all the years Ive welded.
Reply:Ever used those Kool=Back things that slide over gloves? it would be cheaper than replacing gloves every week

Reply:ive been using Gander Brand gloves for the last 3 years... (http://www.bobdalegloves.com/glovein...6&gloveid=1058) they are pretty nice and stand up to most the **** i deal with..I can grind or even cac directly onto these things and they dont heat up.. They are amazing if not a little overkill.
Reply:when im intently watching my puddle as i go vertical up, i become more and more aware of heat in my right hand as the rod gets shorter ...guess i need to find a pair that comes with a spare pair....

Reply:i use these for everything! http://www.jtillman.com/products/?SKU=24Conly thing worse than an ugly woman is an ugly weld
Reply:How big is 5/32 in real measurement? No gloves will handle that for a week, I go through a pair a day doing the same sort of thing . One thing I have found good though is to wear a kevlar sleeve under the welder glove, I seem to be able to get another 3-4 hours out of a set with them on as well.I'd rather be hunting........USE ENOUGH HEAT.......Drifting around Aussie welding more pipe up, for something different.....wanting to get home.
