Reply:MIG welding is a highly productive process that requires less skill than many other welding processes, thus allowing relatively unskilled welders to make deceptively real-looking weld beads on trailer hitches, structures, overhead lifting devices and other trivial objects. It's a Tim-the-Toolman version of a hot glue gun. Now, it's time to get off the Internet and go do your homework.
Reply:Look at the automotive industry and all the robots. Automation and cost savings (robots don't need retirement) would have to be the biggest. with automation comes repeatability to make exactly the same quality weld in the same place day in and day out. We are not going to do your assignment for you but happy to get you on the right track. You could point out how its put many more dangerous things on the road due to all the idiots with their 110 migs trying to build trailers, race cars etc.Tiger Sales: AHP Distributor www.tigersalesco.comAHP200x; AHP 160ST; MM350P, Spoolmatic 30A; Everlast PowerTig 185; Thermal Dynamics 60i plasma.
