personal pontoon cart

I built a small cart for my personal pontoon in order to hike back on conservation areas.  I can pile a lot of my gear on the top and fish anywhere with ease. Attached Images

Reply:That's cool. I couldn't picture a "personal pontoon" but when I clicked on the link everything became clear. How big is the water that you fish with that?I spent some time beside the Arkansas River in Colorado this summer and one of the kayak shops had one for sale. Reply:I usually stash this cart in the woods, or leave it in view of my fishing.  The beauty ofThis thing, is that I can fish in areas that no one else can get to...... Therefore, I rarely have to worry about people being there to steal my cart..Most of the ponds/lakes that I fish on are strip pits or lakes less than 20 acres.  I have taken it in coves of big lakes though.
Reply:Nice work...That's a relatively 'small pontoon' boat and no doubt nice and easy to move around on those big tires...  They're 'especially' handy on the Rivers and 'pothole lakes', allowing for nice maneuverability with the oars and fins.  I don't like em' on the Lakes though cause if it gets windy,(we get strong winds here that seem to come out of nowhere..) you'll get blown out across the lake quite quickly.  I've known a couple guys who were VERY lucky they didn't tip-over after being blown across the lake on 4' rollers.Cheers,Miller Diversion 165120 amp Buzz BoxVictor Oxy/Ace Oxy/LPGSmith "Little" Oxy/LPGHypertherm Powermax 30Lot's of Misc. tools n' crap....
