I found this site just browsing around looking for homemade forge plans. It has some VERY neat and interesting plans from ol skool... I may never be able to try every single one of them but you can bet your butt me and my little boy will be making us one of those bicycle/off road variable speed motorized ol skool mini bikesThey are even asking for more contributers for plans if you have some homemade plans that are ol skool in nature. Here is the siteLINKIf you don't use your head you may as well have been born with two backends. That ain't exactly how Papa used to say it.*Linc'n WeldanPower 200 with a Wis. 2 cyl. w/handcrank*Linc'n AC225 *Linc'n ProMig 180*tiny porta torch...

Reply:Yeah thats a cool site I think alot(if not all) of those are from old popular mechanics aticles which all back issues of are free now online.http://books.google.com/books?id=S98...gbs_navlinks_sI didnt see the lawn mower + alternator welder but they did have an automobile + alternator welder. I planned on building a forge based on the plans from that site/popular mechanics.
