Reply:That particular set up is supposed to mount from the back and a diffusion silk covers the front but the mo' money reflectors put the head out in front of the reflector and he'll cut a silver disc to cover the now existing hole.http://www.profoto.com/products/ligh...ant-reflectorsYou can see the various sizes- The silver Arm is a standard Photo/film/grip item with a 5/8" rod so readily available anywhere. Reply:suuurrrrree, its a "parabolic light reflector"  I know someone is trying to phone home when i see it.  You're in LA, and i'm only about 40 miles east of you, I'm putting on my tin foil hat, just in case you aim that thing my way.aren't motion/still camera related stuff just outrageously expensive?  I see a lot of homebrew "adapter plate, light-stands, swivel mounts and so on" that are really nicely designed, while a lot of the off-the-shelf stuff is just expensive because it was powdercoated.your design is definitely a lot better then the production ones you linked.
