hey guys im new to the forum and im trying to find out somethign .i got this realy old stick welder from my grandfather. and im trying to find out if its worth tryig to sell it im tyig to bye a newer stick or mig. ill describe it as well as posible . it is small and fits in a small box that is about the size of a tool box. it says spit fire on the top it has to i think ceramic plates one on top one on the bottom the top says high and low the botow is were the plug wires hook on. the body is mad of i think tin or light steel with big slits cut in the sides i think for cooling purposes. the handel were the stick is inserted is what looks like brass colored with a wooden handle and i bolt on top the screws down to hold the stick in. the ground is a large alagator clip type deal with jaged teeth . that is about it if any one can help me firure out how old it is or if its worth anything please let me know. ill try and post pictures soon any help would be apreciated.thanks
