Curved rail

Did this job in spring. I was doing some other fabrication at the house as the wood rail guys were measuring.  The wood rails guys couldn't do it because the inside radius was too tight.   The client purchased the balusters and newells.  I hate prefabbed picket, especially if they aren't the proper size.  They end up being cut individually. They were powder coated too with the dowel end for wood..  They thought they were helping me out.Just the channel bent and helix for the steps.Stayed in this form for a while as the client was ready but not ready, ready...The almost finished result.  The rail is dusty.  Look at the walls.  Much dry wall work going.

Reply:Thanks guys.   It is a 20 in radius.   I was excited to do the job because I have never done a stair where the radius changed direction.  It changes from 45 degrees pitch to 25 degrees.
Reply:I noticed that pitch change. I was sitting here thinking about how I would do that. It came out beautiful. I like those challenges to figure out to do the job. Looks like you handled it perfectly.
Reply:Thanks Bob.  My current job involve punched channel.  I have saved some channel, so I can use your technique of using the punched channel for spacers on the table.
