Gentleman, Need some advice on trailer wheels just purchased a portable saw mill want to install trailer wheels on it. but would like to make the trailer wheels removable so when sawing do not have to worry about tripping over wheels. I am told that there are torsion axles out there that get pinned into square tubing pull the pins and take them off leaving axle in place . Any suggestions or ideas would be welcomed need 3500 lbs weight load. Thanks Scott

Reply:you could make a frame out of angle iron that the springs attach to and then you bolt the complet unit to the saw mill frame Attached Images
