Hello, I have a millermatic 350 with a roughneck 4012 gun and i am atempting to run .023 er70-6 wire (30 lb roll) to weld 18ga sheet metal I have a new 023 liner, rolls ,inlet ,contact tip and 75/25 argon co . I have spent hours trying to get this setup to run properly. I got a ok bead or two once the metal is warmed up but nothing consistent also the wire will break at the guide often. I have adjusted volt and wire speed setting tightened/loosened rolls for hours I even contacted miller and got there recommended settings. I don't know what I am missing or doing wrong the machine runs fine with my 045 setup for the thicker stuff. Any thoughts or advice? Thanks Jason |
