Reply:One easy way is with a long straight 2x, a bevel square and a level. Lay the 2x down so it touches all the tips of the steps. This mimics the angle of the top and bottom rail. Now take the bevel square and lay it on the 2x and plumb the second side with the level. Now you have the angle where the two meet..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:I have found Bob's method fairly simple, used it a few times since I first read the thread. Once you get the hang of it it goes pretty easily.http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=38543
