I found a Old hobart welder local he is asking $150.00 for it, he knows nothing about it but his son bought it and replaced the engine and starter and never went any further on it, He said as far as looks it looks real good, What could this be? I am going to try and go look at it tomorrow and see what it is might be a nice project to restore, any ideas
Reply:The old engine driven Hobart welders were top of the line welding machines, but my understanding is the parts for them are hard to come by and getting worse. Take photos and put them up and maybe someone can help you, there are several people here with Hobarts. Reply:Wish I still had my old Hobart. Parts can be bought at Napa. They have willys motors I believe, continental for Linclon. Good welders. |
